Christmas

Strange. I thought I posted earlier asking about Christmas. Anyway.

What are the plans for Christmas day? I know we are coming over on the 25th, and it will be later in the day. So we should do an evening meal, but what are we going to cook/eat? I had a dream last night (don't ask me why) that we had Indian bread. Mom said we could do soups again. I can't remember if we already talked about it at the slumber party. Fajitas?

Whatever we cook, I suggest we try to make less food this time! Let's discuss the menu.

Mmm...Mexican food! That is always great with us. Emma adores bean burritos. Ha!

Mexican food sounds good.

Although soups do as well.

what if we do some sort of international dinner. ya know, Indian bread, Mexican bean burritos, and whatever other foreign foods we want to make. This could force us to become creative and try completely new recipes. I'm all for it. :-)

We could have tamales (yuck), tabbouleh, sushi, burritos, spaghetti, Indian bread. Sounds good to me!

i think that in order to have a vote in what we eat, one must attend the event.

I am so tired right now that I vote for anything easy. Less food would absolutely be in order...I could be talked into Indian Bread, I'll do the bread (with help when it comes to frying), volunteers for cooking roast?? We would need a good bit of that. Let's keep it as simple as possible...unless I get a second wind. ha! We could have whatever side dishes that sound good to everyone - doesn't your Mom do something amazing with potatoes in the oven?? Whatever everyone wants is fine with me. If you go for the Indian bread, put me down for the bread and a roast. I'll encourage my girls to let us know what they might want to bring. Is Everyone coming? Anyone bringing guests? Just looking for a head count.

I believe we'll be bringing 7 and two cute kids. I don't know of any visitors.

Let's decide on the "theme" or whatever, so we can then decide what everyone is bringing.

Okay...we are down to the wire here. Is it Indian Bread sandwiches?
I vote for either that or potluck and see what we come up with. I hear Mema is cooking "Day After Christmas" breakfast.
Going to do my grocery shopping. Maybe I should call one of you. ha

Potluck it is. I will be making either, Indian Bread sandwiches or soup. Right now I am leaning toward soup...just don't know what kind.
